Advantages and Disadvantages of Welded Steel Pipe

Compared with seamless steel, it reduces production costs and is suitable for wind and earthquake of buildings, bridges, dams, offshore platforms and other steel bearings with columns, large-span structures and towers mast structures. Ask.


3. The characteristics of spiral submerged arc welded pipe: the distribution of spiral welds, the length of welds, especially in dynamic conditions, when welding, welds have the opportunity to cool and leave forming points, which is easy to produce welding hot cracks. The direction is parallel to the weld crack, and the axis of the steel tube is at a certain angle, usually between 30 and 70 degrees.
