In engineering, process operation parameters should not be directly used as design conditions of pressure pipes. Considering the factors of process operation fluctuation, the influence of connecting devices, environmental impact, etc., a certain number of process operation parameters are given as design safety marginal conditions. The design conditions mentioned here mainly refer to design pressure and design temperature.


Design Pressure of SSAW Steel Pipe: Under the most stringent conditions, it should not be lower than the normal working pressure, which is composed of internal pressure (or external pressure) and temperature.
The most stringent conditions: the maximum wall thickness or the maximum rated pressure level of the lead pipe and pipe components.
Design Pressure Measurement: Considering factors such as medium hydrostatic pressure, design pressure should generally be slightly higher than the maximum working pressure (or) external pressure and temperature composition under the most harsh conditions.
