ASTM A500 pipe is the Standard Specification for circular, square and rectangular Cold-Formed Welded and seamless carbon steel structural pipe.
ASTM A500 covers Cold-Formed Welded and seamless carbon steel circular, square, rectangular or special shaped structural pipes for bridge and building welding, riveting or bolting connections, and general structural uses. The pipe shall be manufactured in welded and seamless dimensions and shall have chemical requirements of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulphur and copper.
