Typical process of high frequency straight seam welded pipe: uncoiling - leveling of strip steel - head and tail shear - butt welding of strip steel - looper storage - forming - Welding - transparent burr - sizing - Test - flying shear - straight pipe processing - hydraulic test - flaw detection - printing and coating - finished products.
Welding speed is one of the main parameters of welding process. It interacts with heating system, welding deformation rate and crystallization rate.
In high frequency straight seam welded pipe, the welding quality increases with the increase of welding speed. This is because shortening the heating time to narrow the width of the edge heating zone and shorten the time of forming metal oxides. If the welding speed decreases, not only the heating zone becomes wider, but also the width of the melting zone changes with the input heat and the burr is larger. When welding at low speed, heat input makes welding less difficult, and if it does not meet the required value, it is easy to produce defects.
