FBE anticorrosive pipe is a new kind of coating developed in the past 30 years. The epoxy powder coating is coated by electrostatic spraying process to form a film. The coating has the advantages of simple operation, no pollution, good impact resistance and bending resistance, high temperature resistance and high temperature resistance. It has been widely used abroad.


The raw material of FBE coating made from solid epoxy resin, curing agent and various additives by mixing, crushing and processing is thermosetting material. When the coating is applied, the steel pipe is heated to 220 - 230 C, and the surface of the steel pipe is sprayed on the surface of the steel pipe by electrostatic adsorption coating method. Hot melt bonding, cooling and curing. The thickness of single layer FBE coating is 300-500 um; the thickness of double FBE coating is generally controlled at 450-1000um. FBE coating has many advantages, such as excellent adhesion, high insulation, resistance to soil stress, aging, cathodic peeling, temperature resistance, resistance to bacteria and cathodic protection of small current (only 15uA/). But there are some shortcomings such as poor mechanical impact resistance and high water absorption.
