Typical process of high frequency welded pipe: uncoiling - straightening of steel strip - shearing of head and tail - Welding of steel strip - sleeve storage - forming - Welding - clear burr - dimension - flaw detection - flying shear - initial inspection - pipeline sealing treatment - hydraulic test - flaw detection - printing and coating - finished product.
Welding speed is one of the main parameters of welding process, which is related to heating system, welding deformation rate and mutual crystallization rate.
In high frequency welded pipe, the welding quality increases with the acceleration of welding speed. This is because the heating time is shortened to narrow the width of the edge heating zone and to shorten the time for the formation of metal oxides. If the welding speed decreases, not only the heating zone becomes wider, but also the width of the melting zone varies with the change of Burr input heat. In low-speed welding, the input heat is less and welding is difficult. If it does not meet the required value, it is easy to produce defects.
