Welding safety inspection notes of gi seamless pipe
Date:2019-07-30      View(s):1324      Tag:Welding safety inspection notes of gi seamless pipe
During the welding process of Gi seamless pipe, there may be some hidden dangers due to various reasons. Therefore, regular safety checks are needed.  Next, I will introduce the matters needing attention in welding safety inspection.

Welding site, equipment safety inspection:
1. Check whether the equipment, tools and materials at the welding and cutting points are arranged neatly, not randomly.
2. Check whether the necessary corridors are maintained at the welding site. The width of the lane is not less than 3m and the pedestrian corridor is not less than 1.5m.
3. Check whether all welding hoses and cables are intertwined. If they are entangled, they must be separated. Whether or not the cylinders are removed from the site after use, the various cylinders on the site shall not be placed horizontally.
4. Check whether the welding work area is adequate. Welding area should not be less than 4 square meters. The ground should be dry and the workplace should have good natural lighting or local lighting.
5. Check whether all kinds of flammable and explosive articles have been removed within 10 meters around the welding and cutting site. If it is not clean, take reliable safety measures, such as spraying wet or covering with waterproof cover, wet bag and asbestos cloth. Indoor operation should be checked for good ventilation. When multiple welding operations or mixing with other types of work, protective screens should be installed between workstations.
6. The following contents should be inspected on the site of outdoor work: whether the site meets the safety requirements of mountaineering work; in ditches, tunnels, inspection wells, pipelines and semi-enclosed places, the risk of explosion and poisoning should be strictly inspected, and equipment (such as explosion tester, poisonous gas analyzer) should be used for inspection and analysis, and open fire should be prohibited. Check with other unsafe methods. For nearby bare eyes and ditches, use asbestos boards to prevent sparks from entering.

Safety inspection of fixtures:
1. Welding pliers. Before welding, check whether the welding clamp and joint are firm and the clamp is in good condition.
2. Masks and goggles. Check sealing and light leakage.
3. Angle mill. Check whether the wheel rotation is normal, whether there is no leakage, whether the wheel has been tightened, whether there are cracks, damage, to prevent the use of debris flying out of the wound.
4. Hammer. Check if the hammer is loose and avoid flying out of the wound during impact.
5. Flat shovels, dumplings. Flying edges and cracks should be checked, and any cracks should be cleared in time to prevent the use of debris flying out of the wound.
6. Lamps. Various fixtures, especially those with screws, should be checked to see if the screw on them is elastic. If they are rusty, they should be rusty and lubricated, otherwise they will lose their function in use.
