According to its appearance, pipe joints can be divided into five types:
(A) Thickening without Thickening Short Section - The same specification at both ends. One end of the tube is connected to the thicker tube, and the other end is not connected to the thickening of the tube or special threaded tube.


(B) Thicker outer diameter conical part - different specifications at both ends. One end of the short pipe is connected to the larger outer thick pipe, and the other end is connected to the smaller pipe.


(C) Thicker outer thicker short section - the same specifications at both ends. One end of the tube is connected to the external thick tube, and the other end is connected to the same specification of the thick tube.


(D) Short section of the same diameter - the specifications of both ends are the same. One end of the pipe short joint has no thickening pipe or special threaded pipe, and the other end is not connected to the thickening pipe or special threaded pipe.


(E) Unthickened tapered ends - with different specifications at both ends, one end of the pipe joint is connected to a large non-thickened pipe and the other end to a small one.


There are three types of joint according to function:
(A) Dual and female short section: two end specifications for external threads, thickening without thickening short section, thickening variable short section, thickening short section, the same diameter short section, no any kind of thick conical joint.


(B) Short section conversion: one end of the external thread, the other end of the internal thread, the outer short section is thicker and thicker, the outer short section is thicker and thicker, and the adjustable short joint is not thicker to tighten coupling.


(C) Adjustment of short section: variable length, designed according to engineering needs, one end of external thread, the other end of internal thread is thicker, short section is thicker, variable short section is thicker, thicker and thicker and shorter section is thicker, short section and non-thicker section of the same diameter are screwed on the coupling.
