Thick-walled seamless steel pipe is a kind of common thick-walled steel pipe. It is a special material for thick-walled steel tubes. In order to safely cut thick-walled seamless steel tubes, the following operations are recommended.


1. Mechanical cutting adopts external installation and internal installation. It adopts the principle of cutting and grooving with turning tools. Single machine span is large, processing thickness is large, waste is small, pollution-free, processing process does not produce high temperature. It does not affect the pipe material, which is conducive to the welding process. Water cutting technology is processed by high-pressure pump and corundum, which is clean and has a long processing span, but its efficiency is low and the processing thickness is seriously limited.


2. Oxygen acetylene flame cutting, by adjusting the oxygen valve and acetylene valve, can change the mixture ratio of oxygen and acetylene, get three different kinds of flame: neutral flame, oxidation flame and carbonization flame.


3. Ion cutting, plasma cutting with different working gases can cut all kinds of metal which is difficult to cut by oxygen, especially for non-ferrous metal (stainless steel, aluminium, copper, titanium, nickel); its main advantage is that when the cutting thickness is small, plasma cutting speed is fast, especially for cutting common carbon steel plate. When the cutting speed is 5-6 times that of oxygen cutting method, the cutting surface is smooth, the thermal deformation is small and the heat affected zone is small.
