ERW pipeline standards are as follows:
API 5L, ASTM A53 B, ASTM A178, ASTM A500/501, ASTM A691, ASTM A252, ASTM A672


API 5L standard is designed to refer to natural gas and water in the oil and gas industry for seamless and welded steel pipes, including common ports and ports, pipe sockets and direct current (TFL) pipes and ports with specific connection pipe processing.


The ASTM A53 pipeline is suitable for mechanical and pressure applications, as well as for general purposes of steam, water, gas and air pipelines.


ASTM A178 standard for resistance welded pipes, minimum wall thickness made of carbon steel and carbon manganese steel, for boiler pipes, boiler flue, superheater flue and safety end.


ASTM A500 covers Cold-Formed Welded and seamless carbon steel circular, square, rectangular or special shaped structural pipes for bridge and building welding, riveting or bolting connections, and general structural uses.


ASTM A691 covers carbon steel and alloy steel pipes. It is welded by filler metal electrofusion. It is made of pressure vessel quality plates of various analysis and strength grades. It is suitable for high temperature and high pressure service.


ASTM A252 covers nominal wall cylindrical steel pipe piles, in which steel cylinders are used as permanent bearing members or shells to form cast-in-situ concrete piles.


ASTM A672 covers welded steel pipes and is suitable for medium temperature and high pressure applications.
