Anti-corrosion for inner and outer wall of seamless steel pipe
Date:2019-09-04      View(s):1081      Tag:Anti-corrosion for inner and outer wall of seamless steel pipe
Compared with traditional pipes, seamless steel pipes have lighter material, higher strength, better wear resistance, can withstand high internal pressure, are sensitive to production, and can be used in disorderly or harsh geological conditions. However, there are shortcomings in the use process, mainly because the internal and external anti-corrosion treatment is more troublesome. First of all, the problem of anti-corrosion of the outer wall. The anticorrosion quality of exterior wall directly affects its service life. At present, the corrosion protection of steel pipe exterior wall in China is mainly concealed. Steel pipes need to be reinforced or specially reinforced to prevent corrosion of exterior walls, and cathodic protection can be promoted in some areas. Common anti-corrosion methods for exterior walls include coatings, such as petroleum asphalt and epoxy coal tar asphalt. The latter is not easy to solidify at low temperature, and there are many problems in the structure of field welded joints. In the past, chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSPE) was used because of the large amount of solvent. It is easy to produce pinholes and is not suitable for decomposition. Some areas are no longer in use. The anti-corrosion effect of cathodic protection is better, but the sacrificial anode method must be replaced regularly in the future operation, which increases the operation cost and operation.

There are three common methods to treat the inner wall of seamless steel pipe: anticorrosive coating, resin mortar and cement mortar. However, there are two problems in these three methods: one is the bond strength between the anticorrosive coating and the steel pipe. Both anticorrosive coatings and resin mortar require a thorough descaling of the inner and outer walls of steel pipes for construction, but this is difficult to achieve.
