Manufacturing Process of Carbon Seamless Steel Pipe
Date:2019-06-23      View(s):1213      Tag:Manufacturing Process of Carbon Seamless Steel Pipe
According to the different production methods of carbon seamless steel pipe, it can be divided into hot-rolled pipe, cold-rolled pipe, pulled pipe and extruded pipe.
1. Hot-rolled seamless steel pipes are generally produced in the automation of rolling mills. The solid billet is inspected and removed from the surface defect, cut into the required length, aligned at the perforated end of the tube, then heated in the heating furnace, and perforated in the punching machine. While the perforation continues to rotate and move, under the action of rolling and head, the lumen gradually forms, called capillary. Then it is sent to the automatic rolling mill to continue rolling. Finally, the whole wall thickness of the whole machine, through the sizing machine diameter, to achieve specifications. It is a more advanced method to produce hot-rolled seamless steel tube by continuous rolling mill.
2. If you want to get smaller and better quality seamless tubes, you must combine cold rolling, cold drawing or two methods. Cold rolling is usually carried out on a twin-roll mill, where steel pipes are rolled in a circular hole formed by a conical hole and a fixed conical head. Cold drawing is usually carried out on single-chain or double-chain cold-drawing machines ranging from 0.5 to 100T.
3. The extrusion method is to heat the tube on the closed cylinder. The extrusion rod and the extrusion rod move together to extrude the small holes in the extrusion die. This method can produce steel pipe with smaller diameter.
