The cold bed types of seamless tube production line include single chain cold bed, double chain cold bed, new chain cold bed, step-by-step cold bed and spiral cold bed.
1. Single Chain Cold Bed
Single chain cold bed adopts climbing structure. The cold bed consists of a forward transport chain and a fixed track with a drive system. The steel pipe is placed between two fixtures in the forward transport chain, and the fixed track bears the weight of the main body of the steel pipe. The single-strand cold bed adopts forward conveying chain claw and fixed rail friction to make the steel pipe rotate. At the same time, depending on the weight and lifting angle of the steel, the steel pipe is always close to the forward conveying chain claw to realize the smooth rotation of the steel.
2. Double cold bed
Double-chain cold bed consists of forward and reverse transport chains, each with a drive system. The steel pipe is placed between the two pipes of the forward transport chain, and the reverse chain bears the weight of the pipe body. The double-stranded cold bed pushes the steel pipe forward by the thrust of the forward conveyor chain, and makes the steel pipe rotate continuously by the friction force of the reverse chain. The movement of the reverse chain also makes the steel pipe always lean on the clamp of the forward transport chain to achieve smooth rotation and uniform cooling.
3. New Cold Bed Chain
According to the characteristics of single-chain cold bed and double-chain cold bed, the cold bed is divided into uphill and downhill. The uphill part is a double-chain structure consisting of forward and reverse transmission chains. The positive and negative interaction causes the steel tube to continue to rotate forward and climb. The downhill section is a single chain structure with parallel arrangement of forward conveyor chain and steel pipe. It rotates by self-weight to make the landslide move.
4. Walking Frame Cooling Bed
The stepped cold bed consists of two sets of frames, one fixed on the fixed beam, called the static frame, and the other on the moving beam, called the mobile frame. When the mechanism moves, the moving frame is lifted and the steel pipe is lifted, and the steel pipe rolls once in a tooth shape when it is lifted. After the moving gear is raised to the highest position, the stepping mechanism moves the moving rack onto the step of the output direction of the cold bed. The lifting mechanism continues to move, driving the moving frame downward and placing the steel tube in the stator slot. The steel tube rolls again along the teeth and completes the work cycle after the frame is moved back to its initial position.
5. Spiral Cold Bed
Screw cooling is composed of main drive, screw and fixed cooling platform. Screw includes screw and screw. The working surface of the fixed cooling platform is higher than the working surface of the helical core and the working surface under the helix. The weight of the steel tube body is borne by the fixed cooling platform. The main driver drives the screw to rotate synchronously, and the screw on the screw drives the steel pipe to roll forward and cool on the fixed cooling table.
Single-chain cold bed is not suitable for continuous operation, double-chain cold bed has better effect, new-type chain cold bed has good effect and low cost.
